Quality Assurance
Our key goals are to make certain your pet is cared for with dignity and respect and that no errors are made during the cremation process.
At the time of pickup, all pets are cross referenced at the veterinary clinic using a body tag, placed on your pet by the clinic, and the clinic log.
Each pet and all instructions for each pet are then logged into invoices by our driver.
Upon return to Denver Pet Cemetery, all pets are accounted for and then separated according to cremation choice; PRIVATE or COMMUNAL.
All pets requiring COMMUNAL CREMATION are cremated and the cremains are scattered through the cemetery or in other scenic areas.
All pets requiring PRIVATE CREMATION are logged into our register to include all instructions such as urn choice, engraving, etc.
When a pet is placed into the crematory, the body tag is removed and kept just outside the crematory.
Once the pet has been removed from the crematory, the body tag is again placed with the cremains and actually stats with the cremains until they have been returned to the appropriate clinic.
A Certificate of Cremation will also accompany the cremains. This certificate is our guarantee to you that the cremains held within the box or urn are those of your pet.
The Denver Pet Cemetery invites and encourages you to attend your pet’s cremation. A visit to the cemetery will help to alleviate any fears you may have about the cremation process. Just give us a call to let us know you would like to be present during your pet’s cremation; 303-288-0177. You may also visit the pet cemetery any day from dawn to dusk.
